DEAR FRIENDS

ninja

Welcome to this month’s BioNews.  We must learn to free ourselves from the control that others exert over us. As we learn we become FREE, we become powerful.  This pursuit of self defense in wellness, I call “The Martial Art of Wellness.” And as we practice we become Wellness Ninjas.

QUOTE OF THE MONTH

I stopped using drugs in treating my patients when I began to reexamine an old axiom which is that nature is the true healer, using the body’s natural defenses. The physician’s role is to assist in that healing in cooperation with nature and not in replacing nature. Nature cures slowly just like trees grow slowly and not suddenly like chemical drug marketers claim.

THIS ISSUE’S TESTIMONIALS:

I am healthy again

I had 15 lbs to loose after giving birth. I tried everything to loose them without success. I was often tired, I could not get a good night sleep, I was sad that I could not loose this extra weight. I exercised 3 to 5 times a week without change. After being introduced to BSF F1 and F2, I managed to not only loose 10 of the 15 lbs, but my energy, my sleep are now as good as before I got pregnant, and my confidence is back again! I am now certain that I will loose the extra weight. I intend to have a second child. THANK YOU A THOUSAND TIMES TO BSF F1 and F2. I am healthy again and I am proud of it. I tell my family and friends about my excellent results and now they are also using BSF.

Thank you once again.

BIO-ALGAE CONCENTRATES ( Gain Health Loose Weight )

Gaining Health and Losing Weight
by Rodika Kiriac, B.Sc., N.D.

Our bodies are wonderfully designed – I believe they are perfection! Our daily routine, though, so often goes against this perfection: we sit more and move less; we eat more, but nourish ourselves less; we hurry more and savor life less and less. We’ve forgotten what gives us the power to live, and this makes us unhappier, unhealthier, and fatter.

Weight is an indication of our overall health, and by gaining health we can lose weight. An unhealthy body is nutrient deficient. The undernourished cells of our body will eventually lead to an undernourished brain organ, which will undoubtedly lead to an imbalanced and dysfunctional endocrine system (hormonal system). The endocrine system is instrumental in regulating metabolism, thus regulating a proper balance of the fat, protein and water metabolisms. A malfunctioning endocrine system leads to common disorders such as diabetes, thyroid, obesity, and even depression.

We have heard the health promoting rules, but oh so many rules! We love to make them for ourselves, but we do not like to keep them. So let’s try something different – let’s try to forget the negative “don’t’s” that makes us feel like we are missing out, and incorporate health promoting “do’s” that will help us lose weight while building up our self esteem.

Drink Water
Every single cell in our entire body depends on water for proper functioning. Water as a critical component of blood takes part in transporting nutrients and oxygen to each cell and flushing out wastes and toxins out of every cell. A healthy body is properly nourished and properly cleansed. When the body is not well nourished, deficiencies start occurring, and when it’s not properly cleansed, toxins start accumulating. An accumulation of toxins in the body can cause and acidic pH. Disease thrives in an acid environment and unless your body is alkaline, it cannot heal itself. Water is also a natural appetite suppressant – a lot of times we confuse thirst with hunger.

Start your morning with a glass of water, sip water throughout the day, drink some more before your meals (and not with)… and drink one last glass to your health before you slip under the covers at night. Add some freshly squeezed lime juice to your water – besides tasting yummy, it adds alkalinizing properties to your water.

BAC to health at the cellular level
If our bodies are designed to be perfection, our brain is designed to be the genius within. The cells of our brain need to receive maximum nutrition in order to keep the rest of the body in perfect harmony. Maximum nutrition in this world of depleted foods and isolated supplements is hard to find. Algae have long been known as highly nutritious superfoods, while Bio-Algae concentrates (BAC) is likely the best and the ideal blend of the most nutrient rich algae on earth. BAC supplies every single cell of our bodies, and most importantly the cells of our brain with nutrients and phytonutrients they need to function at maximum potential. BAC provides more than 5000 nutrients and essential antioxidants that help each cell of our bodies fight against viral attacks and free radicals. Taking a capsule of BAC before each meal will increase even more the percentage of nutrients assimilated from your food, since so many nutrients present in our foods are flushed down unassimilated by our digestive system. Nourishing the brain cells with maximum nutrition, balances out the endocrine system, including the thyroid, the adrenals and the liver, which are in charge of the water, fat and protein metabolisms. A balanced endocrine system results in the normalization of the pH balance of the body – disease (viral infections, mold, parasites, bad bacteria) cannot live in a healthy acidic-alkaline environment.

BAC feeds the central nervous system with amino acids of highest quality, including in particular, phenylalanine, which inhibits food cravings. At the same time, by nurturing and eventually bringing the endocrine system to a state of balance, the insulin levels in the blood are brought back to normal. High insulin levels increase our cravings for sugary/refined foods and by bringing the insulin levels to normal, we greatly reduce these cravings. From the first day of taking Bio-Algae Concentrates people are surprised that they are not as hungry throughout the day.

Eat a raw food with each meal
Raw fruits and vegetables are naturally high in fiber and rich in vitamins, phytonutrients, antioxidants minerals and live enzymes – they should be an essential part of every meal. Aside from providing easily assimilated vital nutrients, they improve and facilitate digestion. Add a banana, fresh orange, grapefruit, apple or pear to your breakfast, and a green salad to your lunch and dinner. Add good quality extra virgin olive oil to your salads, since this way you will facilitate the assimilation of the fat soluble vitamins in the body. By doing so you will automatically decrease your intake of starchy foods and protein.

Enjoy Protein-rich foods in every meal
Protein is much more filling than fast digesting carbohydrates, thus helping you feel fuller for a longer period of time. Eat protein from the best sources you can find. Incorporate in your diet more whole grains, beans, nuts, wild caught fish, free-range organic eggs, kefir or yogurt (kefir is a better alternative, having a much wider range of healthy bacteria) made from organic whole goat milk.

Eat Slowly and Chew Food More…
Savor your food! Make a point of chewing every mouthful at least a dozen times. Eat slowly – it takes 15-20 minutes for your body to realize it’s full.

Walk!
Exercise is critical to increasing metabolic rate – the faster your metabolism, the slower your tendency to gain weight. Exercise doesn’t have to be difficult or expensive, but it has to be something that you do regularly and enjoy doing! Find that something, and do it: walk, jog, bike, swim, dance, yoga… My favorite is outdoor walking. It is a gentle, low impact exercise, that anybody can take advantage of. I have found that I need my walk more than my highly energetic dog! It enhances mental wellbeing: improves mood, relieves symptoms of depression and anxiety. Walking increases metabolic function thus helps control body weight and reduce body fat. Find a route that you enjoy and walk after your meals, replace half an hour of TV time with walking time, take the stairs, switch driving for walking whenever you can. Walk with long strides, swing your arms, and breathe deeply to bring more oxygen to your blood… and do it daily, or as often as you can!

P.S. Eat well, stay active, sip your water and incorporate a few capsules of BAC daily to stay healthy, happy and fit!

TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR HEALTH ( Qi Gong and Tai Chi )

qigongI started incorporating Qi Gong and Tai Chi practices in my pursuit of wellness in January of 2007. As a 58 year old marathon runner, I needed adjustment massages from time to time… not anymore since I started Qi Gong and Tai Chi. As a practitioner of yoga for 30 years, I am finding Qi Gong and Tai Chi to be safer and more effective in adjusting and maintaining the spine. I have since discovered that thousands of people benefit from the practice of Qi Gong in so many ways. This month I share with you information on Qi Gong and Tai Chi.

What is Qi Gong?

Qi Gong can help you with physical wellbeing, mental growth, emotional and spiritual balance. The word Qi Gong (pronounced “chi gong”) is a combination of two ideas: “Qi” means air, breath of life, or vital energy of the body, and “Gong” means the skill of working with, or cultivating, self-discipline and achievement. The art of Qi Gong consists primarily of meditation, relaxation, physical movement, mind-body integration, and breathing exercises.

For thousands of years, millions of people have benefited from Qi Gong practice and believed that the function of Qi maintains health and heals disease.

In traditional Chinese medicine, good health is a result of a free flowing, well-balanced energy system. It is believed that regular practice of Qi Gong helps to cleanse the body of toxins, restores energy, reduces stress and anxiety, and helps individuals maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.

What is Tai Chi?

Tai Chi like Qi Gong is based on the highest principles of the Tao. Through daily Qi Gong/Tai Chi practice, we can become as children again, without stiffness or tension. We can relearn how to move freely and naturally with the whole body connected, both structurally and energetically. In this way, we mirror our connection to the larger whole, as part of the universe.

Once one learns the postures, the rest of the work in mastering Tai Chi involves learning to use energy in each posture. Working with Chi (energy) is called internal work. The internal work is what makes Tai Chi unique and what distinguishes it from external forms of martial arts. The inner structure is what allows the body to move as a whole.

Originating in China, Qi Gong and Tai Chi is an ancient form of meditative exercise used to improve and maintain good health, increase longevity and improve self-defence. A regular program of Tai-Chi exercises bestows a number of benefits:

  • Relief of neck, should and back pain
  • Rehabilitation for high blood pressure, heart diseases, arthritis, diabetes etc.
  • Relief from the effects of stress and tension
  • The development of a frame of mind for overcoming depression

WWW.THEMAGICISBAC.COM ( Is BAC enough? )

Note: The full question was: I try as hard as I can to feed my cat well, and to have her eat the canned foods but I also don’t want to make eating a stressful time for her. So, will the bio-algae provide enough of the nutrients for her? Do I still need to give the salmon oil for omegas? Are there any other areas that the bio-algae will cover?

With a regular intake of BAC there is no need for additional supplementation with isolated vitamins or supplements, unless there is an acute deficiency (immediate infection or life threatening condition), provided a pet owner feeds premium quality canned or raw food. It is also important to remember, not to feed the same flavor, same brand of food every day to a pet. If that is the case, they may become intoxicated from the same proteins, and/or become nutrient deficient. One must vary foods, and have patience; one cannot open a new flavor canned food and just give up, if the cat snubs it.

BAC has more organic nutrients then any exotic diet of 30 different foods. Some of its nutrients occur in amounts that maybe more then enough for the day, others that are just ok, some that are not enough for the day, and some that are a complete surprise to the body and could never be obtained other then with BAC. One should eat a proper diet for a source of nutrients. One will get “significantly” more nutrients out of any diet, and certainly out of a good diet when consuming BAC. And normally that is enough.

The concept of measuring and supplementing individual, isolate or separate nutrients (vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, etc) is the chemical (as in Chemist) domain that deals with inorganic, as in unorganized molecules, known as chemicals. While with natural sciences the bio-chemist works with bio-chemicals, that is molecules that are organic, or organized together naturally as they occur in whole foods. These organized molecules with their natural balance and synergistic proportions that carry ZERO toxicity can never be found or replace with supplements that are isolate and separates.

Beside supplying an “extraordinary” array of nutrients, the principal value of consuming BAC, is its power to “awaken the genius within”. When fed efficiently by BAC, the mission critical organs of the brain that regulate all metabolic activities, will operate better and the animal or person will assimilate “vastly more” nutrients from foods, whatever these foods may be. That is the most important value added of consuming BAC. In natural sciences it is well known that there are no better nutrient then those naturally occurring in whole foods, NONE.

There are over 5,000 individual nutrients in BAC, including over 4,000 enzymes, Vitamins A, B-complex, C, D, E and K, all ten essential amino acids plus ten more, all known trace minerals and elements, Omega-3, Omega-6, Omega-9, GLAs (Gamma-Linolenic Acids), ALAs (Alpha-Linolenic Acids), DGLA (Dihomogamma-Linolenic Acid), DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid) and more fatty acids, etc.
