Lack of Pain

The Martial Art of Wellness

Welcome to this month’s BioNews.  We must learn to free ourselves from the control that others exert over us. As we learn we become FREE, we become powerful.  This pursuit of self defense in wellness, I call “The Martial Art of Wellness.” And as we practice we become Wellness Ninjas.

Lack of Pain

For the first 2.5 months, I did not notice much in terms of difference for good or worse. I was encouraged, though, by the lack of cleansing reactions as i had experienced on other algae products previously so I persevered.

I started with BIOSUPERFOOD F2 formula with the standard protocol increasing daily to 6-10 capsules. I started seeing some increases energy levels around that time. More precisely, I would say that my energy was more constant throughout the day and preventing that fatigue at the end of the work day.

Then I started using F3 from 6-10 day. 2 capsules 3 times per day seemed to be the right dose for me. Gradually, I noticed that I felt stronger during my training activities such as extreme skiing and cycling. What first surprised me was the lack of “pain” in the legs from lactic acid generation. This was very exciting because I found myself being able to push harder and tax my aerobic system instead of the legs. I first noticed this in a fun New Year’s day cyclocross race. I had not been on the bike for close to 2 months and normally my legs would of been hurting from the effort, but instead i found myself feeling great. Later, I continued to experience similar things in my skate skiing. Going 40 kilometers on skis without the usual cramping and breakdown of the body. Overall, my mood is upbeat and positive and simple exciting to know that my cells are getting the best nourishment.

I am excited to continue taking BIOSUPERFOOD and push my level of performance. ”

Even with the product description and usage guidelines for BIOSUPERFOOD provided online and in our brochures, we still receive questions everyday about its use, its nutritional makeup, its purity, etc. This year we have begun posting some of those questions and their answers at Check this area online from time to time as many more Q&A will be posted.

In this BIONEWS I will address two frequently asked questions.

QUESTION: What is the difference between the formulas F1, F2 and F3?

Nutritional formulas F1, F2, F3, F2+ and F3+ were developed in order to accommodate individual biochemistry. For example, a developing child has different health state, resilience, immunity and nutritional needs than; an adult, an athlete, a vegan, or some one with a severe degenerative condition.

All formulas contain some amount of the green algae Spirulina Pacifica, Spirulina Platensis, and of the red algae Dunaliella and Haematoccocus Pluvialis. Together these algae provide thousands of nutrients with proportioned nutritional and protectional values. The green algae contain a broad spectrum of proteins, minerals and chlorophyll that have a great nutritional value, while the red algae contain a large amount of mixed carotenoids / antioxidants, phytonutrients and fatty acids that have a much higher protectional values, and a greater ability to cross the brain barrier and there nourish and protect the hypothalamus-pituitary axis.

Carotenoids in the red algae of BIOSUPERFOOD
are known to crosses brain barriers without toxicity

Due to a larger proportion of red algae from F1 to F2, and from F2 to F3, the formulas have increasing brain reaching nutritional and protectional efficiencies.

QUESTION: Some algae contain toxic levels of mercury, how do you know that BIOSUPERFOOD does not?

The BIOSUPERFOOD formulas are certified by Health Canada for their purity and exact content. Health Canada imposes that Each lot is analyzed for its nutrients content and verified for heavy metals and other pollutants. For a sample Analysis, visit at

There are over 25,000 different species of algae in the world. Most are found growing wildly, and some beneficial to all living creatures are cultivated by man for consumption; unfortunately many are toxic to some degree due to their habitats or pollutants.

Dr Kiriac believes that there are no natural body of water on Earth, including the Arctic and Antarctic oceans, that is not polluted to some extent. Contamination of polychlorinated hydrocarbons (PCHC), aldrin, heptachlor, heptachlorepoxide, lindane, DDE and PCB are found in tissue samples of Arctic seals, Polar bears, polar foxes and sheep from southwest Greenland.

For those reasons, Dr. Kiriac will not use any open lagoon, lake, ocean or wild grown algae in his formulas. Other manufacturers may claim that they test their lake or wild grown algae for commonly known toxins and contaminants, but what about the uncommon, the unknown and those pollutants for which there are no tests for yet?

In order to avoid airborne pollution including sun ultra violet damage, the sensitive algae in BIOSUPERFOOD are grown in covered facility called bioreactors where temperature, turbulence and light can be controlled and enhanced.

And to further avoid toxicities from oceans or lakes, or open lagoons, a purest and most mineral rich water is obtained from geysers stemming from two thousand feet below a Siberian volcanic peninsula. They are grown without the use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides and without antibiotics, growth hormones or any additives.

Kamchatka Valley of Geysers

It is for the reasons described above, that the formulas are consistently verified to contain no airborne pollutants, no ocean or lake pollutants like mercury, fish or bird excrements, etc. Every lot of BIOSUPERFOOD (not just randomly selected) is tested for bacteria, herbicides, pesticides, heavy metals and other contaminants before encapsulation (according to Health Canada standards, the U.S. equivalent to the F.D.A.).

BIOSUPERFOOD contains the micro algae Spirulina Pacifica, Spirulina Platensis, Dunaliella and Haematoccocus for its high concentration of the carotenoid Astaxanthin. You can be assured that BIOSUPERFOOD never contains any toxic algae since they are grown in controlled bioreactors and not in the wild. Everything from the selection of light, heat, water and nutrients is done under the supervision of Dr Kiriac.

From over 20 years of research he has learned what specific light, heat and water conditions are necessary to maximize the nutrients of his algae. The concentration of nutrients in Dr Kiriac’s algae far exceeds that of any other algae. This level of quality assurance and purity is a principal reason why BIOSUPERFOOD is a breed apart in the algae market. Dr Kiriac’s algae are more therapeutic than any other algae and have a much greater potential to awaken the body’s own natural ability to heal.
